This is the feature stamp which I have used on the 18th Birthday card (this is the fourth installment) and is the Makey Bakey mice from Crafters Companion.
As you may remember the brief for this was to be in sepia tones. I have used my Spectrum Noir alcohol pens and there is a lot of TN!
Tn1-3 for the main part of the Dummy
EB5,4 and TN’s 5 and 3 for the wooden parts of the dummy
TN1-5 and EB4 in various combinations for the mice
DR7, EB5 and 4, and TN6 for the sewing machine; TN’s 1 and 3 for the lighter parts at the front and EB5, EB4, TN3 and TN1 for the wheel at the back.
I have used GB8, EB1 and 2 for the table and finally TN1,3 and GB2 for the cloth. I have then added a bit of copper stickles to create the dots on the fabric.
To finish I have added in some shadows and used the blender to soften the lines.
My light source is coming from the right, however the shadows of the ladder have the light coming from the left on the assumption that there will be light coming in from the shop window – see 18th Birthday Elements 2
This cute little stamp was coloured using my spectrum noir pencils and i have then cut out the image and matted it onto blue card. I will post the finished card with it on when i decide what i am doing with it…
The above photo is a little brighter than the image, so all of the colours are in fact a bit darker than shown here; the below image is from before i cut it out so there are smudges etc surrounding the image which are not pretty however i am including it because it is truer representation of the colours.
